Oct. 7th - More biking and Duluth.

Got up and went mountain biking with my dad over at Standing Rocks County Park which was fantastic (full review over at the fastcrusade.com) albeit much more technical than Hartley due to heavy downed leaves and numerous roots. I was then able to pick up a truck from a family friend and then Jena and I packed for a weekend trip to Duluth. The drive was long but was shortened significantly (mentally not in actuality)  by listening to David Sedaris and then the Brewers game. Which by the way if you're not from Wisconsin or don't care about baseball the Brewers won in the 10th inning and are going to the National League Championship Series. Once in Duluth we were able to grab some beers from the Fitger's Brewhouse, which if you are ever in Duluth and have the chance to grab a beer or food there - do it. The wait was super long (Friday night) so we ordered food to go and ate it on the top of the parking ramp where there is a tremendous view of Park Point and the great Lake Superior. We retired for the night after meeting up with our friend Anna at the Burrito Union for some more Brewhouse beer.
