Oct. 2 - So long, Twin Cities.
Hello friends. We said goodbye to our home, for the last year, today. We will greatly miss the Twin Cities, but are extremely excited for all of our adventures to come. We had been living in St. Paul since last fall, after going to school and living in Duluth for some years.
In St. Paul, Morgan worked for the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota for a few months driving a truck and then got a job as a bike mechanic at an awesome bike shop in Minneapolis called the Hub Bike Co-op. I(Jena) was working as a teacher's assistant with the St. Paul Public School District during the day and then as a waitress/beer lover at the Minneapolis Town Hall Brewery during nights and weekends. By the way, if you have never been, you should definitely check out Town Hall Brewery. They have great beer, my favorite being the Masala Mama IPA, plus the patio is great for people watching.
When we weren't working we kept busy riding our bikes on the many bike paths that the Twin Cities have to offer, having potlucks with our wonderful friends, and seeing lots of live music. We are sad to leave all of this behind, but remind ourselves that we are just saying "see you later" when leaving. Off to Amherst we have gone to visit Morgan's family and friends and to get ready for the road trip!
