We know we've been slacking a little bit on our posting (ok so a lotta bit) but we are gonna start making it up to you. The photos and descriptions from our travels to Machupicchu, Peru and back to Quito will now be done in quick succession for your viewing pleasure. Starting off with Lima and our tour of Huaca Pucllana. Huaca Pucllana are pre-Inca ruins which only began being excavated 30 years ago. The pyramids were built with handmade bricks which were then used to create trapezoidal walls, some as tall as 10 feet high allowing the enormous city of Lima to "disappear" when you walked through the ruins.
